Authlete, Inc. has joined Microsoft Japan Co., Ltd.’s partner collaboration program “Microsoft Enterprise Accelerator - Fintech/Insurtech.”
This program will support financial institutions in their transformation efforts to generate new revenue streams by combining Microsoft’s technology with solutions from partner companies. Specifically, the program will address the needs of the financial institutions that are looking to expand their digital sales channels by offering their business functions to third parties through open APIs such as open banking and open insurance.
The Authlete solution provides core functions of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC). Many customers including financial services companies are leveraging Authlete to enhance their API security. Some of them have integrated Authlete with their API infrastructure built on Microsoft Azure to adapt to OAuth 2.0 to provide open APIs. For example, ISID deployed an API authorization server for Seven Bank. Another example is Resonatex, Nihon Unisys’ open API enablement infrastructure.
By participating in this program, Authlete will provide further support to customers who use Microsoft Azure to build an API platform that comply with the latest OAuth/OIDC.
